Traipse along the Howard Theatre's Walk of Fame!

A new tour in Washington, D.C.

The historic Howard Theatre has hosted many legendary acts for over a century, and now you can walk in those performers' footsteps in our new tour.

The Howard Theatre Walk of Fame celebrates the District of Columbia's rich musical history and is a homage to the iconic artists that played this legendary venue.

The Office of the Deputy Mayor for Planning and Economic Development teamed up with Cultural Tourism DC to select 15 artists to be honored in a series of plaques installed in 2016.

You'll walk the same sidewalks as D.C. natives Chuck Brown and Marvin Gaye, as well as immortal performers such as Ella Fitzgerald, James Brown, and many more.

Like all performing arts venues in the era of COVID-19, the Howard Theatre is closed, but you can still enjoy the performances of these incredible people, while also taking your brain for a walk with Traipse. Plus, we've created a playlist for you to enjoy before, during, and after your exploration!
