Announcing a new tour of the historic park in Staunton, Virginia!
Designated a Virginia Historic Site in 2015, Montgomery Hall Park is 148 acres of natural beauty that has nature trails, disc golf, soccer fields, basketball courts, picnic areas and shelters, a playground and a swimming pool.
In the 1950's and '60s it was one of only two parks in Virginia African-Americans were allowed to visit, and of those two it offered significantly more amenities. (In fact, we also bring you there on our African-American Heritage tour of Staunton!)
