Traipse seeks part-time help!

The Gray Matter Sodality

Traipse seeks a part-time Creative Content Associate to assist with the management and development of its successful, unusual-puzzles-by-mail product, The Gray Matter Sodality (GMS).

This person will be responsible for assembling puzzles and mailings and therefore will need to be 1) extremely detail-oriented and willing to triple check their work; 2) someone who listens to and executes instructions well; 3) able to physically handle tedious, repetitive tasks. Ideally, this person enjoys escape room-esque puzzles and has an artistic touch; they will be helping to handcraft puzzles.

In time, this person will be expected to contribute to GMS product development, marketing and communications campaigns, business operations, and community engagement campaigns. Digital marketing experience is a plus.

This position will work 2-10 hours a week. The main place where we currently assemble puzzles and mailings is out of a Traipse employee’s home in Cheverly, Maryland and at least at first, it will be necessary to work there. Occasionally, meetings will occur at our coworking space in Washington, D.C. We can figure out location balance based on the person’s specific situation. Some working from home may be possible as well.

Wages are $14/hour. Direct sales is not a required part of this position, however, in addition to standard wages, compensation may include commission on subscription sales and/or other incentives, especially should this person show themselves to be adept at subscription acquisition. Commission would start at 20% of sales directly brought in by the person.

Please send a resume and a cover letter to: Austin@Traipse.co. No phone calls please.
