Traipse makes its debut in
New Market!
We've partnered with New Market, Virginia to create two new scavenger hunt walking tours!
New Market, Virginia is cradled by the Massanutten and Blue Ridge Mountains to the East and on the West by the Alleghany Mountains, and is an excellent home base for visits to multiple cavern systems and other nature-based adventures.
New Market is a history buff's heaven, and its centuries of history since its European-settler-founders are well-recorded and told.
We've got two new scavenger hunt walking tours of the history and architecture of the town's main street. (Plus, as always, we highlight a few of the stellar small businesses along the way!)

After the initial loading screens in the app, if you're already in New Market, the app should automatically load you into that area. If not, tap "Traipsing Around In" at the top and then select New Market from the menu.

Select one of the two tours and start your adventure. You'll need to create a (free) account if you haven't already.

After you've arrived at each location along the tour, the "Challenge Me" button will become available. Tap that button to receive a question that can only be answered by finding something at that location.
